ROCKFORD, Ill. – Though the record books will show the 2010 Rockford College Women’s Soccer season as a disappointment, the effort was never in doubt as evidenced by two Regents’ women’s soccer players garnering all-conference awards from the Northern Athletics Conference.

Freshman Ali Granryd (Austin, Texas/ James Bowie) received All-NAC honorable mention as a defender.  Granryd was one of only two Regents to appear in all 19 games this season.  She was second on the team in shots with 11 and third in shots on goal with seven from her defensive position.

Sophomore Alyssa Baggio (Cary, Ill./ Cary-Grove) was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team.  The political and English double major led the Regents with five goals on only eight shots on goal.  Baggio was also 2-2 from the penalty spot.

Rockford finished the 2010 campaign with an overall record of 1-15-3 (0-12 NAC).
