ROCKFORD, Ill. -  It’s been more than 735 days since the Rockford College women’s team had the feeling they had on Saturday.  It had been over two years since the Regents looked at the Sam Greeley Field scoreboard and saw the home side with more goals than the visitor side.

On Saturday, the Regents defeated the Mt. Mary College Blue Angels 5-2 for their first win since October 15, 2008 and their first home win since October 9, 2008.

Junior Courtney Neville (Rockford, Ill./ Lutheran) led the Regents with a hat trick, including the game’s eventual game-winner.  Junior Holly Boekeloo (Beecher, Ill./ Beecher) added two goals for Rockford.  Freshman Ali Granryd (Austin, Texas, James Bowie) added an assist for the Regents.

Rockford will close out their season on Wednesday, October 27 when they travel to Lisle, Ill. to face Benedictine University.
