Dealing with conflict in the workplace is the topic of the next Leadership Café at Rockford College June 30 from noon – 1 p.m. in the college’s Burpee Center Grace Roper Lounge.
The session is entitled "Staying Cool When You Are Feeling Hot” and features Sue Razbadouski, executive director of Family Counseling Services of Northern Illinois. She says when people work together, there are bound to be occasions when individuals disagree and conflict arises. This workshop explains techniques for dealing with such stress and conflict.
Leadership Café is sponsored by the Northern Illinois Center for Nonprofit Excellence (NICNE). Admission is free to NICNE members; $10 for non-members. To register, or for more information, call 815-394-4384. Reservation deadline is June 28.
