Rockford College professors attend conferences, are published

Thelma Warner, assistant professor of nursing at Rockford College, 5050 E. State St., Rockford, attended the fourth annual National League for Nursing Technology Conference at Johns Hopkins University College of Nursing in Baltimore. The opportunity was funded through a fellowship.
Marilyn Greer, associated professor of nursing, contributed and reviewed for Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN Examination published by Saunders Publishing. The book is a study aid for individuals studying for their RN exam.
Business professors JJ Asongu and Masoud Moallem presented papers at business and economics conferences around the U.S. Asongu prepared papers for the MBAA International Conference in Chicago and at the International Conference on Business and Public Responsibility at Northern Illinois University. Moallem chaired a session and served as a discussant at the International Conference on the Global Business Crises in Las Vegas. He also participated in a three-day workshop on supply chain forecasting sponsored by International Business Forecasting.
Susan Azar Porterfield, professor of English, had several works published in books and journals: le journal des Poetes, Eating the Pure Light, Flyway: A Journal of Writing and Environment; and Nimrod.
