Rockford College staff rack up accomplishments

Rockford College professor Noel Rennerfeldt designed the scenery for three musicals at The Little Theatre on the Square in Sullivan. Professor Jeff Hendry did the costume design for "A Little Night Music” at the Light Opera Works in Evanston. Thelma Warner, assistant professor of nursing, attended the fourth annual National League for Nursing Technology Conference at Johns Hopkins University College of Nursing in Baltimore. She received a fellowship to attend the conference.

Stephen Hicks, professor of philosophy, presented the keynote address for the International Conference on Business and Public Policy at NIU-Rockford. His topic was "Global Entrepreneurship and Business Ethics.” John Burns, instructor of modern and classical languages, presented a paper at a conference about contemporary developments in emergent literatures in the new Europe held in Spain. Susan Porterfield, English professor, had several works published in books and journals.
