Rockford College's first major expansion in about 20 years

ROCKFORD (WREX) - Increased enrollment has a couple of Rockford College programs bursting at the seams. That's why it's expanding for the first time in about 20 years.
The college is leasing 9,000 square feet of an office building in the 5100 block of East State Street. It'll include faculty offices and meeting rooms for the school's master's and accelerated bachelor's programs.
The space should be ready in late April. There's a special opening ceremony scheduled for May 3rd.
