Proposal writing workshops set at Rockford College

A series of six proposal writing workshops sponsored by the Northern Illinois Center for Nonprofit Excellence (NICNE) will be held at Rockford College on select Thursdays this spring.
Each session runs from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. and participants can attend individual workshops or the entire series. Session topics are as follows:
- Researching Funders: March 16
- Introduction to Logic Models & Outcome Statements: March 30
- Proposal Writing Language & Mechanics: April 13
- Developing Budgets: April 27
- Writing Federal Proposals: May 11
Instructor for the workshops is Betsy Swenson, a grant professional. Cost is $70 per session or $370 when registering for all six sessions at the same time. Deadline to register is February 26.
