NICNE offers human resources class as part of leadership certificate program

An operations course entitled "Managing Your Most Valuable Asset – Human Capital” sponsored by the Northern Illinois Center for Nonprofit Excellence (NICNE), will be held Thursdays, February 4 – 25 from 1:30 p.m. – 4 p.m. at the Rockford Park District Offices, 401 S. Main St., Rockford.
Topics include creating accurate job descriptions, the hiring process, understanding the value of personal assessments, conducting reference checks, and formal and informal aspects of performance management. Instructor is Sue Buckwalter, HR consultant with HR Concepts.
The course is part of NICNE’s Leadership Certificate program. Cost for the session is $250 with a discount for NICNE members. To register or for more information, call NICNE at 815-394-4384.
