The Rockford College women’s basketball team defeated Beloit College 56-45. The Lawler sisters, Megan Lawler and Nicole Lawler, both played key roles in the victory. Megan Lawler, a Rockford senior and Pearl City grad, finished with 15 points by nailing 6-of-8 field goals and 3-of-6 free throws. She also finished with nine rebounds and two steals. Fellow Pearl City grad Nicole Lawler, a Rockford freshman, had six points and two rebounds. Rockford is 3-8 overall.
