Media Follows Rockford SAAC on Can Drive

ROCKFORD, Ill. - On Sunday, November 8, the Rockford College Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) took to the streets of Rockford to collect donations of canned goods for the annual Northern Athletics Conference Cans Across the Conference Food Drive.  Rockford’s student-athletes were not alone, they were followed by several media outlets.  The following links feature news clips of Regents helping our community.

The drive pits the SAAC committees from the 13 NAC schools against each other to raise the most cans for local charities.  Rockford’s SAAC will be collecting cans through November 22.  In 2008, Rockford won the drive with 6,750 cans donated to the Rockford Rescue Mission.
