Lawler Leads Regents to Senior Day Win

ROCKFORD, Ill. – Its been a disappointing season thus far for the Rockford College Regents volleyball team, but led by their lone senior on Senior Day, the Regents put together a solid effort in a 3-0defeat of the Alverno College Inferno.

Though senior Megan Lawler (Pearl City, Ill./ Pearl City) is playing only one season with the Regents, she certainly left her mark on Saturday.  Lawler led the Regents’ offensive attack with a match-high 13 kills.  Lawler also added four service aces and six digs.  Freshman Nicole Lawler (Pearl City, Ill./ Pearl City) added eight kills and five aces for Rockford.

Rockford will travel to Watertown, Wis. On Tuesday to face Maranatha Baptist Bible College.
