This week is National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week and students at Rockford College are doing their best to remind fellow students of the dangers of alcohol abuse.

Students stopping by an alcohol information table had a chance to guess the alcohol content of various drinks…not by tasting, of course. They also took in an improvisational comedy show about the dangers of mixing alcohol and sex, and later donned rigged goggles that simulated the effects of driving while drunk.

Theme of the week is “I Choose.” The events are sponsored by the college’s Student Activities Office.
