Cross Country 4th at CUW Falcon Invitational

MEQUON, Wis. - Rockford College put three runners in the top 12 at the Concordia University Wisconsin Falcon Invitational on a windy day along the scenic Lake Michigan shoreline. The “Running Regents” were led by Seth Lagerhausen (Mesa, Ariz. / Dobson), Matt Lindgren (Oak Forest, Ill. / Oak Forest), and Victor Reyes (Winthrop Harbor, Ill. / Zion Benton), who finished 3rd, 6th, and 12th respectively for a 4th place team finish in the field of 13 teams. Rounding out the scoring for Rockford were juniors Randy Ebert (Belvidere, Ill. / Marengo) who finished 34th, and David Gray (Erie, Ill. / Erie) in 54th.

According to Regents Coach Roger Fredrickson, “We’ll be running on this course again in late October and wanted to get a feeling of familiarization. There were some changes made to the course from last year and this was an excellent opportunity to see the course and compete with a nice mix of quality teams.”

The Regents' next race will be the Homecoming Alumni Run, Saturday, October 3rd, on the campus of Rockford College at 12:00.
