Artist Fitzpatrick to talk at Rockford College

Well-known artist Tony Fitzpatrick presents a talk at Rockford College September 24, 7 p.m. in the college’s Maddox Theatre.
Described as creative, unorthodox, and inspired, pop artist Fitzgerald brings a unique flavor to his art through his own experience, whether it is his upbringing in Chicago, or the inspiration from his trips to New Orleans. An icon in the art world, his works are highly-sought after by collectors around the country.

In addition to the talk, Fitzgerald has an exhibit in the Rockford College Art Gallery through October 4. Admission is free. Gallery hours are Tuesdays from noon – 3 p.m. Wednesdays from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.; Thursday – Saturday from 3–6 p.m.
