Author Frank Warren will speak on “The Most Trusted Stranger in America: Frank Warren’s PostSecret,” at Rockford College September 28, 4 p.m. in Maddox Theatre.

Warren is the creator of the blog phenomenon “PostSecret Project,” a collection of over 200,000 highly personal and artfully decorated postcards mailed anonymously from around the world, displaying the soulful secrets we never voice.

The Web site for PostSecret is one of the most popular on the Web, and has been featured prominently in the media in USA Today, on the Today Show, 20/20, CNN, MSNBC, CBC, NPR, and Fox News. In 2009, Forbes magazine named Warren the #4 most popular "Web celeb," behind popular bloggers Perez Hilton and Michael Arrington, and the founder of Digg.com.
