People considering enrolling at Rockford College can learn more about the school every Wednesday this summer during Regent Wednesdays, June 17 – August 5, the school says.
During Regent Wednesdays, prospective students can learn more about the college, its programs and services, meet with an admission counselor, and take a tour of campus. Families are also invited to come along and appointments can be scheduled to work around individual needs.
Rockford College has more than 70 majors, minors and concentrations to choose from, and a host of co-curricular activities, including an extensive athletics program. The college is well-known for its solid focus on the liberal arts, and has been named one of the best colleges in the Midwest by the Princeton Review.
Home to the Jane Addams Center for Civic Engagement, the college places a high premium on community service and has been cited nationally for its efforts in working with community-based groups.
Several of the Wednesday sessions are focused on particular fields or areas of interest. They include nursing (July 8); undecided majors (July 15); athletics (July 22); and health and sciences (July 29).
For more information on Regent Wednesdays, or to make an appointment, call the Admission Office at 815-226-4050 or see www.rockford.edu/?RegentWed.
