Schools at all levels play a vital role in the process to prevent disease within their communities. That is why we will continually keep you apprised of news and information related to the H1N1 virus.

Because there is no vaccine available right now to protect against the H1N1 virus, it is important to emphasize the impact our everyday actions can have on the spread of germs that cause respiratory illnesses like influenza. Students, parents and faculty should take these everyday steps to protect their health. Cover your cough, clean your hands, and avoid large and unnecessary crowded places. To this end, we are following the recommendations of our state and local health departments

Watch for further updates as warranted. For any health-related questions, contact the Lang Center for Health, Wellness and Counseling at 815-226-4083.
