Regents Run at Cougar Invite

RIVER FOREST, IL - The Rockford College track team continued their impressive performance on Friday at teh Concordia University Chicago Cougar Invitational.  Junior Matt Lindgren (Oak Forest, IL /Oak Forest) won the 800 meter race in 1:57.04 and came back with a 51.2 split and new school record of 3:42.08 in the 4 x 400 relay.  Lindgren teamed up with Victor Reyes (Winthrop Harbor, IL /Zion Benton), Bobby Tassone (Sandwich, IL /Sandwich), and Jeff Orlowski (Ottawa, IL /Ottawa) setting the new record on a very hot and windy day in River Forest.
