Rockford College students observed the NIU anniversary today by passing out support bracelets.
School leaders passed out bracelets to the college community, marking the one year anniversary.
The red, purple, and black bracelets read "RC supports NIU."
Student leaders say its a day to remember the five students who died nearly one year ago.
