College hoops report: Marian's Moody tallies double-double

The Marian University women's basketball team got big games from two former area high school players, but lost, 64-56, to Rockford College on Tuesday at Marian.
Former Springs standout Coleen Moody had 25 points and 15 rebounds, and Oakfield native Brooke Haen had 17 points and five rebounds for the Sabres in the loss.
Moody went 11-for-29 from the field and 2 of 2 from the free-throw line, while Haen was a sparkling 6-for-12 from the field, including 3-for-6 from the line.
Stephanie Bouchard added 12 points for the Sabres, who fall to 2-9 overall and 1-5 in the Northern Athletics Conference. Marian center Ashley Mueller contributed 10 rebounds.
Rockford, which goes to 3-10, 1-5 in the NAC, got 16 points from Kim Nielsen.
