Rockford hits buzzer beater to clip Ripon

Rockford College's men's basketball team scored with less than a second left to beat Ripon College 75-73 on Saturday.
Rennell Taylor was just 4-for-13 but he hit a jumper just before time expired to break the deadlock.
Ripon native Scott Gillespie led Ripon with 20 points and five assists. Former Waupun star Aris Wurtz scored eight points and had four rebounds in 16 minutes off the bench for the Red Hawks (4-4).
Andrew Weber scored 23 points to lead Rockford (6-6).
Ripon led 38-34 at halftime and scored the first basket of the second half to take its largest lead of the game at 40-34.
