Pianist Christopher Taylor will perform in Rockford April 19, 3 p.m. at the Coronado Performing Arts Center in a concert to benefit The Music Academy of Rockford College and the Coronado.
Among his generation of pianists, Taylor stands out as an innovative musician with a diverse array of talents. Performing classical music from across the centuries, Taylor exhibits an active imagination and intellect coupled with heartfelt intensity and grace. He has performed with symphony orchestras around the world, and has received numerous awards for his work.
When not performing, Taylor serves as the Paul Collins Associate Professor of Piano Performance at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Tickets are $24 for adults; $12 for students through the Coronado PAC, phone 815-968-0595.
