Talent show at RC May 7

A talent show sponsored by the Black Student Union at Rockford College will be held May 7, 7 p.m. in the college’s Maddox Theatre.
This first-ever event will feature some of the best talent in the region, says Kenneth McNeal, a Rockford College student and president of the Black Student Union. Some 10 acts are expected to perform.
Performers still interested in taking part are in luck. Final auditions are slated for May 1, 8 p.m. – 10 p.m. and May 2, noon – 2 p.m. in the college’s Lions Den.
Cost for the event is $5 for adults; $3 for students with an ID; and $1 for Rockford college faculty and staff. Children under the age of 12 will be admitted free.
