Personal Bests Highlight Metzger Invitational

KENOSHA, WI - The Rockford College Regents continued their impressive indoor season at Saturday's Carthage College Tadd Metzer Invitational. Rockford's day was highlighted by a distance victory, a school record, and seven personal bests.
Junior Seth Lagerhausen (Mesa, AZ/ Dobson) picked up the Regents individual victory in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 17:06.58 .
Bobby Tassone (Sandwich, IL/ Sandwich) ran a personal best in the 55 meter dash with a 7.14 and set a school record in the 200 meter dash at 25.01.
Matt Lindgren (Oak Forest, IL/ Oak Forest) ran a personal best 4:34.34 in the mile run.
Randy Ebert (Belvidere, IL/ Marengo) ran a personal best 4:57.25 in the mile run.
Tyler Mendenhall (Prophetstown, IL/ Prophetstown) tied his personal best in the mile run with a 4:48.08.
Jeff Orlowski (Ottawa, IL/ Ottawa) ran a personal best 1:35.95 in the 600 meter dash.
David Gray (Erie, IL/ Erie) ran a personal best 10:40.88 in the 3,000 meters.
The Regents will next take the track on Saturday, February 21 in Oshkosh, WI for the UW-Oshkosh Invitational.
