Rockford Book Drive

A local college student is on a mission to collect books to give back to the kids of her community.
 
Rockford College Elementary Education major Jennifer Torrence is collecting used children's books to give Rockford kids something to smile about.
 
Torrence is organizing this drive on her own to provide books to students at Summerdale, Nashold and Haskell elementary schools. She says she just wants to help out kids in her community.


If you're interested in dropping off books, you can do so until November 1st. Drop-off location are at Woodman's, Sylvan Learning Center, Dolphin Swim Club in Loves Park and Rockford College.

Non-fiction and Bi-lingual books are encouraged.
