Howard to speak today at Heritage Foundation

Former Rockford College President John Howard will present a lecture at noon today at the Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C., on his new book, “Christianity: Lifeblood of America’s Free Society.”
Howard’s speech can be viewed live at heritage.org.
Howard is the co-founder of the World Congress of Families and senior fellow of the Howard Center for Family, Religion & Society, which is named in his honor.
The thesis of Howard’s book is that Christianity was the dominant influence in the development of the American nation and its society.
