RIVER FOREST, IL - The Rockford College women's soccer team continued its solid recent play with Wednesday's 4-1 victory over the Concordia University Chicago Cougars in River Forest, IL.  The victory was the Regents' third in their last four games.

On Tuesday, Regents sophomore midfielder Wendy Murphy (Phoenix, AZ/ Mountain Pointe) was named "Regent of the Week" for her four goal performance last week.  On Wednesday, Murphy reinforced that choice by tying a career-high with four goals.  Murphy wasted little time after the opening whistle, notching her ninth goal of the season just four minutes into the game.  Murphy's shots would also reach the net in the game's 41st, 63rd, and 80th minutes.

Rockford's freshman goalie Jessica Schroeder (Lave Villa, IL/ Lakes Community) recorded 11 saves in the victory.

The Regents will travel to Naperville, IL on Friday to face North Central College.  Kick-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
