Valiquette addresses Chamber group

Christina Valiquette, director of the English as a Second Language program at Rockford College, will speak at the Rockford Chamber of Commerce Breakfast Buzz, Oct. 8 at Rock Valley College. Title of the session is: “Working with a Multicultural Workforce – the Differences and Similarities in Cultures and Embracing Opportunities.” She will be followed by a presentation by Penny Lechtenberg of Hinshaw & Culbertson on immigration, recent developments and why immigration issues are important to business.
The event at RVC runs from 7:30 a.m. – 9 a.m. in the Woodward Technology Center.
