Regents 2nd at Chief Invitational

SUGAR GROVE, IL - Rockford College put five runners in the top 20 and brought home the 2nd place trophy at the Chief Inviotational on the campus of Waubonsee College, in Sugar Grove, IL.

The Regents were lere through the muddy trails by Tony Hardin (St. Peters, MO/ Howell Central) (5th), Seth Lagerhausen (Mesa, AZ/ Dobson) (5th), Tyler Mendenhall (Prophetstown, IL/ Prophetstown) (13th), Victor Reyes (Winthrop Harbor, IL/ Benton Harbor) (16th), and Randy Ebert (Belvidere, IL/ Marengo) (20th).

Hardin, Lagerhausen, and Mendenhall were all medalists in the men's race, while Audra Carlson (Winnebago, IL/ Winnebago) brought home a medal in the women's race with her 9th place finish.

Rockford's next race will be September 20th on the campus of Concordia University in Mequon, WI, the site of the 2008 NAC Cross Country Championship meet.
