RC Art Gallery to feature works by Boies

“Crossroads,” a cross section of paintings by artist educator Mary-Glynn Boies with current and earlier work will be featured in the Rockford College Art Gallery Oct. 3 – 31, with an artist gallery talk Oct. 3 from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Boies’ paintings are stilled narratives spotlighting children involved in ordinary activities, but placed in surroundings depicting other future paths.
Art gallery hours are 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays; 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. Thursdays – Saturdays. The gallery is closed Sundays and Mondays. Admission is free. For more information, call 815-226-4105.
