Proposal writing workshops set at Rockford College

A series of six proposal writing workshops sponsored by the Northern Illinois Center for Nonprofit Excellence (NICNE) will be held at Rockford College on select Tuesdays this fall.  

Each session runs from 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and participants can attend individual workshops or the entire series. Session topics are as follows:

Grant Readiness: Tues., Sept. 16, Faculty Dining Room, 2nd floor Burpee Center

Researching Funders (with a panel of funders): Tues., Sept. 30, Faculty Dining Room, 2nd floor Burpee Center

Introduction to Logic Models & Income Statements: Tues., Oct. 14, Faculty Dining Room, 2nd floor Burpee Center

Proposal Writing Language & Mechanics: Tues., Oct. 28, Faculty Dining Room, 2nd floor Burpee Center

Developing Proposal Budgets: Tues., Nov. 11, 108C Language Lab, Starr Science Center

Writing Federal Proposals: Tues., Nov. 25, 108C Language Lab, Starr Science Center

Instructor for the workshops is Betsy Swenson, director of grant & program development, Community Health System, Beloit. Cost is $70 per session; $370 if registering for all six sessions.  For registration information, call NICNE at 815-394-4384.
