South American photographers to exhibit at Rockford College

Rockford College Art Gallery hosts “Latin Views: South American Photographers” from Aug. 29--Sept. 26 in the Clark Arts Center. The small-group exhibition, curated by Martha Schneider of the Martha Schneider Gallery, Chicago, showcases the works of selected contemporary Latin photographers, including Lalla Essaydi, Luis Gonzales-Palma, Thomas Kellner, Marie-Jo LaFountaine, Coney Piaggio, and RES. A reception for the public is slated for Fri., Sept. 12, 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Gallery hours are Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.; Thursdays – Saturdays, 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. Closed Sundays and Mondays.
