RC students to help build Habitat home

Rockford College students are helping build a Habitat for Humanity home on Thurs., July 17 and Sat., July 19 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. The dozen or so students will join workers from Target stores to build the home at 3430 Gladstone, aka House 73. Coincidentally, Target contributed $2,000 toward RC’s annual Habitat trip to Starkville, MS during spring break. Student efforts like this are the core of “civic engagement” which makes Rockford College unique.
