NICNE Concealed Carry Seminar to be held April 16

Rockford, Ill., — Rockford University’s Northern Illinois Center for Nonprofit Excellence (NICNE) will be offering a seminar for employers to help explain the impact of Illinois’ Concealed Carry Law. Key topics of the event include general overview of the law, signage requirements, and employer policy considerations.
There will be two presenters during the seminar. Christopher Breck, Senior Vice President, Alper Services, LLC, and Robert T. Bernstein, Partner, Laner Muchin, Ltd. Their presentations will review potential insurance coverage issues, potential damage to your business reputation, as well as possible impacts on your HR policies, postings, and procedures.
The seminar will be held Wednesday, April 16, 10 a.m., Grace Roper Lounge, Burpee Center, Rockford University, 5050 E. State St., Rockford. Cost to attend is $35.
