Celebrate World Read Aloud Day at Rockford University on March 5

Rockford, Ill., — Students, faculty and staff at Rockford University will celebrate World Read Aloud Day on March 5 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the Howard Colman Library located on the Rockford University Campus at 5050 East State Street, Rockford. The public is invited to join the campus community as they celebrate the power of the shared and spoken word.

World Read Aloud Day is a global movement that campaign’s for every child to have access to books by joining together to read and share stories. Participants will learn about sharing book titles with children, teens, and adults to motivate them to read more. Anyone interested in participating is encouraged to bring a favorite children’s book to share.
