Assistant Professor, Psychology, Non-tenure Track

Rockford College invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track position as an Assistant Professor of Psychology beginning August 2013. This position is half-time teaching and half-time coordination of the human development program. Primary teaching responsibilities include online courses in gerontology and face-to-face courses in human development. Primary coordination duties include program planning, curriculum development, marketing and recruitment (in partnership with college offices), internship coordination and supervision, implementation of the online gerontology certificate program, and other administrative duties associated with the human development program. A Master's degree in psychology, or related field, is required. Online and face-to-face teaching experience at the college level also is required. The successful candidate must have an educational philosophy compatible with that of a private institution in a liberal arts environment.
