The Rebels’ Ratification: Commemorating our federal Constitution lecture celebrates Constitution Day on September 17th

The nation will recognize Constitution Day on September 17, 2012. The day will be celebrated locally as part of Rockford College’s forum series. Political Science and Economics Professor Robert Evans will provide the College’s annual lecture to honor and commemorate the ratification of our federal constitution. Professor Evan’s "The Rebels’ Ratification” lecture will take place on Monday, September 17, at 4 p.m. in the Fisher Memorial Chapel located at on the Rockford College campus, 5050 E State Street, Rockford.

Robert Evans is an Associate Professor of Economics Business and Accounting and Associate Professor of Political Science. He also serves as the Chair of the Economics, Business and Accounting Department. Professor Evans earned his B.A. from Wake Forest University and M.A. from Northern Illinois University and has been teaching at the college since 1978.
