Community Services

Students are one of the most important constituents of the Jane Addams Center for Civic Engagement. Without dedicated students to work with community members in developing strong partnerships and leadership skills the Center wouldn't be complete. There are many ways for students to become involved in the Center including:

• One-Time volunteering opportunities
• Ongoing service opportunities
• Jane Addams Service Fellows
• Educational Opportunities
• Political Education
• Advocacy Training
• And much more!

The Rockford College mission statement emphasizes that education is "to prepare students for fulfilling lives, careers, and participation in a modern and changing global society." We strive to provide programs that help Rockford College obtain these goals in working toward becoming the Jane Addams College of the 21st Century!
