Our scholarship program is designed to attract curious and creative students that are ready to use the tools they receive to change the world.
 

PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP
The Presidential Scholarship is a competitive scholarship. Recipients are required to complete the FAFSA and be enrolled full-time. The Presidential Scholarship cannot be used in conjunction with other Rockford University scholarships, grants or awards. This scholarship is available for four years.

Amount: up to full tuition
Number of recipients: up to 10

Requirements/Criteria:

  First-Year Students
  • 3.65 minimum GPA
  • 29 minimum ACT/SAT equivalent

     

      Transfer Students

  • 3.65 minimum GPA
  • 30 completed college credits
  • 29 minimum ACT/SAT equivalent
Qualified students will receive an application from the Office the Admission. The Presidential Scholarship is available to Domestic students. GPA is calculated on an unweighted 4 point scale.

Important dates:
  • Applicant must be admitted to Rockford University by January 24, 2013.
  • Scholarship application deadline is January 31, 2013.
  • Scholarship finalists will complete an on-site interview and essay on February 16, 2013.

TRUSTEE SCHOLARSHIP
Trustee Scholarships are awarded each fall to new first-year and new transfer students who attend full-time. All recipients must live on campus and become active participants in campus life. The Trustee Scholarships are highly competitive and are limited to 10 recipients per year. Award amounts reach up to $20,000.

Criteria are as follows:

    

      First-Year Students

  • 3.50 minimum GPA
  • 27 minimum ACT/SAT equivalent

     

      Transfer Students

  • 3.50 minimum GPA
  • 30 completed college credits

Qualified students will receive an application from the Office the Admission, outlining the criteria and additional requirements. The Trustee Scholarship is available to Domestic students. GPA is calculated on an unweighted 4 point scale.

The deadline to have all Trustee Scholarship application materials in by is January 31. Students must be admitted to Rockford University by January 24.


DEAN'S SCHOLARSHIP

The Dean's Scholarships are awarded each fall to new first-year and new transfer students who attend full-time. The Dean's Scholarships are competitive and limited to 25 recipients per year. Award amounts reach up to $15,000.

Criteria are as follows:

     First-Year Students

  • 3.35 minimum GPA
  • 25 minimum ACT/SAT equivalent

     Transfer Students

  • 3.35 minimum GPA
  • 12 completed college credits

Qualified students will receive an application from the Office of Admission. The Dean's Scholarship is available to Domestic students. GPA is calculated on an unweighted 4 point scale.

The deadline to have all Dean's Scholarship application materials in by is January 31. Students must be admitted to Rockford University by January 24.

MERIT AWARD
Merit Awards are given each fall and spring to new first-year and new transfer students who attend full-time. Merit Awards recognize strong academic achievement. Award amounts reach up to $10,600.

To apply for this scholarship, simply apply for admission to Rockford University. The Merit Award is available to Domestic and International students.

REGENT AWARD
Regent Awards are given each fall and spring to new first-year and new transfer students who attend full-time. Regent Awards are based on academic achievement. Award amounts reach up to $7,000.

To apply for this scholarship, simply apply for admission to Rockford University. The Regent Award is available to Domestic and International students.
