Position: President Year: Senior E-mail: srandall@rockford.edu Major: Classics and Chemistry Hometown: Caledonia, IL
What I do during my downtime: I have many, many interests, but I love to paint, play piano, swim, read, and spend time with my family.
Why I chose Rockford College: I chose Rockford College because it was a small school and close to home. I also was attracted to the small class sizes and personalized experience that each student receives from going here.
My favorite thing about Rockford College: I love how small my classes are, and how I have much more time with my professors and other faculty and staff on campus. I feel like a special part of the campus community and much more than just another face. I also enjoy all of the wonderful leadership and extra- curricular activities on campus where you can make friends, and develop important skills and relationships.
Plans after I graduate: I hope to continue my studies in graduate school or medical school.

What I do during my downtime: In my downtime, I like to do a lot of things, including reading, biking, going for walks and playing pool. I like relaxing with friends and camping is one of my favorites. I also work at Arby's in my free time.
Why I chose Rockford College: I chose Rockford College because it is close to home and it is a smaller college which makes the lifestyle more comforting.
My favorite thing about Rockford College: My favorite thing about RC is the fact that it is so small and it appears to be more of a community. You are able to establish relationships easily with other students as well as faculty and staff.

| Amy Collinsworth
Position: Senior Senator Year: Senior E-mail: acollinsworth@rockford.edu Major: Marketing Minor: Philosophy Hometown: Rockford, IL
What I do during my downtime: In my down time I love to go to concerts, listen to music, volunteer, and hang out with friends and family.
Why I chose Rockford College: My dad is an alumnus of RC, so I have been hanging around this campus since I was ten. When it came time for me to apply to colleges, RC was a back up college for me. However, at the last minute I decided RC was the better fit. I am so glad I made that last minute decision because this school has become a second home for me and opened so many doors in many different respects.
My favorite thing about Rockford College: If you read any publicity for the college, you will most likely find a quote from a student who mentions the close-knit family-like atmosphere around RC. It has almost become cliché to say so, but it really is true! When you are a student, faculty, or staff of the college, you are a part of the RC family.
Plans after I graduate: I plan to go straight on to graduate school to earn a master’s degree in Higher Education and then work in student life at a college or university.
