The Miser is the story of a super rich money lender, Harpagon, who is a miserable old skin flint. To him, everything is money and everyone wants to take it from him. Harpagon’s children, Élise and Cléante, would love to escape their penny-pinching father’s home and marry their respective lovers. Many unexpected and hilarious twists and turns delivers a surprise ending.
