In turn, you will work independently, in small groups, and one-on-one with the presenters. Summer Shortz Series -- Reflections on a Lifetime of Service
Join us on the patio in front of the Colman Library at Rockford College. Relax, enjoy the morning sun, and learn from seasoned professionals -- memories of triumphs and pitfalls, maintaining longevity, and passing the torch to a new generation of leaders.
Presented by Carol Bennett, former Executive Director of Northern Illinois Hospice and Grief Center.
Carol is the former Executive Director of Northern Illinois Hospice and Grief Center. She has previously held two other Executive Director positions for local nonprofits, including the Winnebago County Council on Aging, which she helped lead through its merger with Protestant Community Services and a later merger that resulted in Lifescape Community Services coming into existence. Carol is often called upon to present her insights and lessons learned to boards, professionals, and professional organizations.
