While commuting to work, Cedar Marie and Rachel Bruya Walker realized their artwork share themes of displacement. Both use forms to investigate objects (in Marie’s case) and buildings (in Bruya Walker’s case) as symbols for constructing and deconstructing meaning within diverse economic and political environments.
Exhibition Dates: March 5 - 28, 2010
Gallery hours:
Tuesdays from noon–3:00 p.m.
Wednesdays from 6:00–8:00 p.m.
Thursday through Saturday from 3:00–6:00 p.m.
Sundays and Mondays we are closed.
Admission is free and open to the public.
