Kimberly Gray
The Modern American City: Can We Ever Make it Sustainable?

Tuesday, April 20, 2010, 4:00 p.m., Maddox Theatre

Kimberly Gray is a professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Northwestern University whose work is motivated by a commitment to protect and improve the environment, and a drive to solve interesting problems in science and engineering. In her talk, she discusses the various perspectives on "sustainability,” a term that means very different things to different people, and makes the case for why this is a pressing issue to be addressed sooner rather than later.
