Peter Phillips is a professor of sociology at Sonoma State University and director of Project Censored. The group has published nine editions of Censored: Media Democracy in Action and has also published the Project Censored Guide to Independent Media and Activism, Impeach the President: The Case Against Bush and Cheney, and Censored 2009, a compilation of the top censored news from 2008.
