Ettlinger takes us on a pop-science journey into the surprising ingredients found in dozens of common processed foods, using the Twinkie as a guide. Author of seven books, Ettlinger has long been fascinated with everyday consumer products. He has appeared on all the network morning shows and also been interviewed for radio and newspaper stories. If you’ve ever wondered what’s really in the food you’re eating, this talk will be most enlightening. Presented by the Rockford College Jane Addams Center for Civic Engagement.
