Details
The U.S. is the most technologically sophisticated society that ever existed. Many of our most important public policy decisions have a technological dimension. Yet most of us don’t know enough science and engineering concepts to be meaningful participants in important discussions on such things as energy policy, climate change, and tax policy. This talk explores the kinds of concepts everyone should know in order to be a responsible citizen. Wulf is A T & T Professor of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Virginia and is the Phi Beta Kappa Visiting Scholar.
