The screening of "First Generation" is Presented by the Illinois Association for College Admission Counseling in partnership with Rockford College.

The Human Relations Committee of the IACAC is hosting a second screening of the film.

First Generation tells the story of 4 high school students - an inner city athlete, a small town waitress, a Samoan warrior dancer, and the daughter of migrant field workers - who set out to break the cycle of poverty and bring hope to their families and communities by pursuing a college education.
The event is free and open to all educators; please feel free to invite members of your school or university community. Register online for free. Walk-in registrations will be permitted, if space is available.


Suggested donations of $10 will be collected to benefit the IACAC Scholarship Fund.
