Dean Siconolfi is a former Senior Research Scientist at NASA's Johnson Space Center. He will present a lecture that covers the physics of microgravity, how astronauts complete acts of daily living, and physiological adaptations to and after spaceflight.  In addition, he will address an area of his own research about exercise countermeasures currently in use on the International Space Station to help keep astronauts fit for duty on the space station, and possible future missions to the Moon or Mars. After the presentation, a Russian countermeasure space suit from his personal collection will be on view.
