Spring 2013 Faith-Based Leadership Certificate Program
Managing Our
Most Valuable Assets: Staff
and volunteers. People whether they are employees or volunteers are the
life-force of any faith-based organization. This course will provide tools for
developing positive work relationships, recruiting/hiring and evaluating and
coaching performance of paid staff, additionally discussion will include the
applicability of state and federal statutes. Special emphasis will be placed on
recognizing volunteer management as a process which includes identifying the
needs of the organization, matching those needs through recruitment, orienting
and training, motivating, evaluating and recognizing the efforts of volunteers.
